Hello. I have been playing piano for 9 months and I am going to be in a competion for piano in Oklahoma. What are some tips? I wanna make state, and this is my first competition!

i've competed before, so i kno how u feel. just stay relaxed and try not to get too nervous. before u play, warm up a little by doin a couple of short exercises on the piano. and dont 4get to practice, practice, practice b4 competition. learn the actual notes of the song, and not just how it sounds, that way if u mess up in the middle of the song (hopefully u dont) u kno exactly where to start up again. good luck!

Practice, Practice, Practice! Make sure you know your music well, including dynamics. Play with emotion, it adds an extra touch to the music.
