I love Andrew Lloyd Webber's music, but I'd argue that John Williams is a far better composer and his film scores have reached far wider audiences and are even better known than Webber's best-known songs and scores.

John Williams' repertoire includes the theme from "Jaws," the incredible "Schindler's List" theme and the score to all 6 Star Wars films, the first two Harry Potter films, all three Indiana Jones films, the original Jurassic Park movie and "Memoirs of a Geisha" . . . and that's just for starters!

Andrew Lloyd Webber is indeed a fanastic lyricist and composer. I do agree that he is great but there are others. Memories from "Cats" is superb.
