need to know if any one knows where the thermostat is on a 98 mustang 3.8 l v6.
Having trouble finding it.

on the intake follow the upper radiator hose until it hits t-stat housing on intake.

From the radiator follow the hose to the engine. Where it's clamped to is the thermostat housing. Remove the 2 bolts and note how it is in there. When you change it if you've forgotten how it goes in the side with the big spring goes toward the engine.

In some cases (a repair manual would help) the thermostat is on the inlet side of the water pump.

trace your upper radiator hose down to the engine and it will be inside the thermostat housing usually two bolts and a gasket.
