im 351/2 weeks pregnant. and i went to the hospitol today and they just sent me home,. has anyone ever had anything similar happen to them? can you share your stories please. or please tell me what you may think will likely happen to me, as far as going into true labor is concerned. thank you.

I lost my plug 3 weeks before I started labor and then I made 3 trips to the hospital before they kept me.I say stay at home as long as you can.Don't go to the hospital until your about 4 minutes apart but also remember that you have to listen to your own body too because that is just how I did it.

Usually when you loose your mucus plug, you go into labor in a week or so. maybe 2. i would just walk and clean! get your body goin! Not too much longer for you it seems. You will know when you go into labor~you wont have to ask! But its not far thats for sure. Be careful and dont do anything extreme! Walking is the best...when you feel pressure its normal too. If your contractions dont go away, you need to tell the hospital to take a closer look at you and tell them the situation. Just remember...YOUR the mom, not them and you know what your body is doing-not anyone else! Good luck and have funnnn

Were your contractions 6 minutes apart and consistent when you went to the hospital earlier today? As long as your water hasnt broken Id say your ok. I had my baby at 34 1/2 weeks and went to the hospital for a week because my water was leaking, and they were sending me home everytime too. Until my water actually completely broke. Good luck

You are in labor, but it is going to be a few hours at least. I am certain the doctor told you that. They send you home for your comfort and they wouldn't send you home if there was something to be concerned about. Your baby is fine. Walk, walk, and then walk some more. It speeds up the labor and also eases the pain. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost my plug on a Sunday and gave birth on a Thursday. To me it sounds like you're going to have a baby either later toay or tomorrow morning. Just wait until your water breaks or until you can't take the pain anymore. To me though it sounds like you're about to give birth. CONRATULATIONS!!!

IT IS SO STRANG HOW THEY SEND PEOPLE BACK HOME. I HAVE HAD SEVEN CHILDREN AND THEY KEPT ME EACH TIME I WENT IN.
