According to the 2004 United Nations Human Development Report, Sierra Leone is the poorest country in the world with a national debt of about $1.7 billion.
I have driven there from Guinea two times.. It was once a rich country but was stripped of all.. ALL of its teak wood forests by the Lebanese who had control of the President of the country at that time.. It was so sad tdo see such a beautiful little country being raped by the Lebanese who lived there

Actually Sierra Leone is the poorest country in the world. I check my social studies text book, so it should be right.
