Hi. I'm a trained writer and photographer with lots of talent but the prospect of phoning up to get the names of all the feature editors of all the national papers and their supplements is scaring me off.
I've got the papers' phone numbers from the Guardian Media Directory but I imagine the switchboard and newsrooms won't have the time to give me the info. There are so many of them and they change occasionally. Once I have their details I can email them feature ideas. Does anyone know of a ready made list, or has anyone got a list? Thanks.

Try this site, I don't know how up to date it is though. Ask your local newsagent to get copies of the newspapers in for you. It might cost a bit extra. Often the email addresses are printed in the actual paper. Hard to find on line though. Good luck.

Try searching each newspapers' website for "Feature Editor" and see what that comes up with; even if it only gives you a name, you could try emailing "name@newspaper.co.uk or .com".
