I have a macbook, and i enabled my ipod for disk use. but idk how to put notes into the notes folder on my ipod. I made a document and dragged it into the notes folder, but, it just showed up as a bunch of weird symbols on my ipod nano. HELP?

when you update your ipod, if you have iTunes 7.0 or higher, after the update, when you look at the ipod information, check ENABLE FOR DISK USE. after that, go into MY COMPUTER and in there, there should be something saying IPOD. open that, and open up notes, add a note by right clicking in the blank area and selecting one that says NEW TEXT DOCUMENT write the note, and then update your ipod again, and the note should be on the ipod.

above answers are correct, but to reiterate, make sure the file you drag into the notes folder is a .txt file, and under 4k. they really shot themselves in the foot with that limitation
