I have an iPod nano, and its black. I wish I got white now, because fingerprints show up a lot on the black one. How can I clean the prints off without scratching it or damaging it, and without having to buy some sort of special iPod cleaner. I have a case that i usually use, so I wouldn't need to clean it a lot, making it a waste to buy a cleaning product. I just need some way to clean it off real quick when I'm not using my case. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Do not use any paper products (except Kimwipes) like tissues, etc because they are made of wood from trees. Instead, any soft, clean cloth will do. Cotton is very good, don't use polyester or nylon or too much synthetic materials. Don't use water b/c it will damage the electronic stuff. I know that ipods aren't that cheap but it really should not be that big of a deal in maintaining it because i mean you have hte money to buy/have it so it's most important role is to function/play correctly, not really to be looking "perfect". that's the way i see it.

just take a soft cloth and some glasscleaner ( on the cloth )rub it clean . You might want to invest into a slipcover for the pod. they sometimes come with extra window covers

I use the cloth that came with my glasses on my ipod. Also, breathing on it before you rub helps a little too. The surfaces on most ipods are so sensitive I would avoid anything potentially abrasive (i.e. shirt sleeves, paper, asphalt ;-) ).

I wear glasses and use the little cloth that I use to clean them. It doesn't leave scratches behind and cleans the screen nicely.
