If you were presented with the two following options, which would you choose:

A) Re-live your life all over again, unable to change a single event, and totally unaware you had lived it already. Everything would seem new, like it hadn't happened before.

or

B) A new life choosen for you at random.

Why?

This has been such an interesting experience. I began by reading the question, then all the answers. At the beginning I believed one way, but after reading all the thoughtful answers I have changed my mind completely.

So, I would absolutely take A - because, with all its 'faults & blunders' it has been an honourable life on the whole, and basically a life with very few hardships, and I have been blessed with a lot of love from a lot of people. Thank You dear G-d for that.

Frankly speaking I think it should not matter which one I choose because both the choices will be new if you start from the beginning , without previous backlash. Although I do think I will have an inclination to make a choice for my current life - fortunately I have led a decent life and am just a little skeptic about what I may see in the other life. Obviously if we choose a random life, there is a possibility that we are not that fortunate as we have been till now; and of course none of us may want to be born in circumstances that we view bad or worst from our perspective.

Also please remember you are making a choice in current life, and so your frames of judgments will be based on your experiences till now.

Theoretically answered: I'd love to relive my present life. With all he mistakes I've made, it's been great.
Practically answered: none are possible. What's going to happen after I die is that I'll plan a new life for me based on the experiences of this one. That is the way. It's a universal law.

Neither A nor B are acceptable to me. I have and will continue to learn the lessons of this life, so no need for a redo. Nothing in life or death is random.

C) Having found a way off the wheel of reincarnation, I don't have to come back. I'll share what I know, but only if you want off of the wheel of reincarnation too. If so, please feel free to E-mail me.

Firstly,'You' can never die. Its your body that dies.

Secondly,You have no choice but to accept the life which you have yourself carved out for yourself with your past actions the reactions of which you have to face due to the law of casuality(cause&effect)You have put it into motion you have to wait till it stops.Theres no escape/no choice but to bear it.Your choice is limited to action alone ,the consequences of which is your compelled result.

When you throw a stone up into the sky you have but no option than to receive it back falling down due to the law of gravity. So better think twice before you do anything.

As you sow
So shall you reap

So think before you speak
And look before you leap(do/act).

These Eternal laws of Nature are always functioning whether you accept them/believe in them or not they never cease to operate.

interesting question, life is where you learn, if given the opportunity to relive my life i would change everything in it except having my family, i would choose to bring back my son who was murdered and my granddaughter who was murdered at 21 months old. i have so much strenght i have gained during some if my life changing events, i would take those stenghts to my new life. i would eliminate the procrastination and disorganization in my life and replace it with the opposite.

If you were truly unaware you had lived the life before, then option "A" would be the same as option "B".

B - cuz I've already lived life A - might as well give life B a chance.

I would definitely take a new life even if it was chosen at random. We learn something new from every lifetime. Isn't that what we're here for? Learn, laugh and love...

Oh my gosh, definitely A. I would love to see my loved ones who have died, again, and have those relationships to live all over again. I would gladly take all the pain all over again to have the joys I have lost.
