No, but I have a friend who was driving through a shopping center with her husband. She saw a homeless man with no shoes and she told her husband to take his shoes off and give them to the man. He said no and kept driving. She persisted, so he circled around, took off his shoes and dropped them by the man and kept driving. I laughed at her and said, how do you know if they even fit? She said well, it's better than no shoes at all....I guess.

You mean your baby's shoes?

(I'm assuming, cause this is the newborn/baby section... But I also realize the question could be mis-filed.)

I gave away my son's first pair of shoes to a friend. (They were expensive shoes & still had some wear in them.)

My own shoes? Well, I usually wear them till they're falling apart, so they wouldn't do the poor any good.

Yeah I have before. Any of the kids shoes that dont fit anymore or mine or my husbands if we dont wear them. I give shoes that are in decent condition though. I have given to the Katrina people at our church or to Good Will.

Mine tend to wear out before they are thrown out. We did give away childrens clothes, but I don't like doing it with children's shoes because a poorly fitted pair can damage feet.

If they were still in good condition yes. I'd never give them junk.

If you have a lot of them or if you don't use them anymore then yeah. I would not have a problem with it.
