Yes, you can do this. I had a page in my favorites, not because I wanted to use it, but because I wanted to show my fiance how easy it is to put this type of software on a system. However, when I clicked on it it kept saying Page Cannot Be Displayed, so it may have changed the website name or gone offline. I know there is a lot of this type of software out there though. So, just put in a quary in Goggle and a lot of this stuff will come up. The program I saw was free and it was downloaded and istalled via an e-mail attachement disguised as a photo or other item.
I support parents who want to keep an eye on what their children are doing. Kids just have no idea how unsafe the world really is and need a lot of protection from their parents. Teenager especially need help staying safe as they believe they are invincable. They know bad things happen in this world, but it always happens to other people, never them. Not untill it does happen to them and then it is too late.
I do advocate thinking long and hard about the methods employed to do this. It is a fine line to keep your child's trust and when you lose it is is hard to get back and can take years to repair a ruptured relationship. So, while I agree you need to take action just be really carefull while doing so. Good luck and your child is a very lucky kid to have such a loving and concerned parent. So many parents are abdicating their roles and make excuses like how busy they are, how over worked they are, etc. Well, I doubt many who have children who have been harmed still say how busy they are. They say instead, why didn't I do somethign to keep my child safer? So, you go lady and I take a bow to you. I raised eight children by myself and it was not easy, but we all survived and they are great young adults now. I too had to take the road less traveled these days and do some unpopular actions. Today my kids thank me and respect me a great deal. They know how much I love them and how hard they made my life! lol I owe all my grey to those teen years!
Good luck and have a great day! I hope you find what you are looking for, sorry my bookmark went out to lunch on me! ;-)
