Whatever we name HIM..They mean the same thing..A supreme, omniscient, omnipresent being that has dominion and power over all things on earth and the universe. People may call HIM Yahweh, Jesus, Allah, ,,these names all denote one divine person...the creator.

Who said Jesus is God? Have you gone out of your minds?
Jesus himself said that he was the son of the God. You halfbaked people create problems to others. George Bush and the Church criticised Islam and are now living every day fearing terrorist attacks. America thought that it was invincible and got the world tower bombed.

First learn about your religion thoroughly. Learn about Hindus thoroughly. Then start passing comments. Thousands of foreigners are offering their prayers in Hindu temples in India right now and throughout the year. You visit India and visit the temples. Then you will not ask this question.

You appear to have a lot of misconceptions.
Jesus is more appropriately God's son, just like you and myself and not God Himself. He gave his life for mankind and thus attained Godliness.
You are probably Christian and therefore believe in one God (monotheist) and in Jesus as God's manifestation on earth.
India is the home to a large number of people who believe in many different religions and religious orders. Hinduism is the religion with the largest number of followers in India. There are Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis in India too. Indian Christians believe in one God and Jesus, just like their counterparts in the rest of the world.
However Hindus believe in many Gods. It is as much a matter of religious belief for them, just as the 'one God' belief of Christians or Muslims. There is no 'why' about it. Being a Christian yourself, I don't think you can justify why there should be one and not multiple Gods when everything on our earth is many and not one. You just believe in it because your religion teaches you so. Even if Christianity offers any logic, I don't think it can stand the test of scrutiny. It is the same with Hinduism. The practitioners are taught to believe that there are multiple Gods each with distinctive powers and functions. Ultimately it just comes down to faith.
I don't know which country you come from. Hindus not just in India, but living in any other country like the UK, the US or elsewhere follow and practice their worship of multiple Gods.
And finally, have you ever questioned yourself why you believe in even one God? You surely know that atheists believe in no God? Hey! I'm setting the stage for another argument. Maybe another day, another time.
Bye

As per what i have learnt in a convent school, Jesus is never thought as god. He is the messenger of god. We pray to him to send our feelings to the God.Secondly God is a faith like we have our faith in our teacher. We expect them to teach us good. Like we have different teachers we in india have different Gods to represent different aspects of life., Like Lakshmi for money,Saraswati for Knowledge and so on and so forth. It is like a foot ball game. Your final achievemnt is the goal and you can make moves from the right or the left or take the centre route also. Hope I have cleared you enough. If still you think you are not convinced you can ask many questions on this topic and i will be willing to answer the same.

I'm sorry if you find this offending, but if Jesus is the only God, then what about the other hundreds of cultures in our world? what you percieve as the truth is your business, along with everyone else, and everyone should have their own opinion about it. Now it might be that Jesus is the only God, and it might not be. But we're not gonna find out anytime soon.

First of all my friend, Jesus was NOT a god. He never claimed to be a god. Just because he was born without a father, doesnt mean he was a god. If he is then what do you consider Adam, the first human being without father or mother to be?another god? I dont think so, and hope you either...

correction YOU BELIEVE that jesus IS THE ONLY GOD.and i totally respect that.i am not a christian and i am supposed to be a hindu.however i dont define my religeon with names or beliefs.i believe that there is an energy behind everything and that energy is that of god.we give different energies different names and in a way percieve these energies to be in the human form.i ask you if jesus is god than why is he potrayed as a human.why do all gods in different religeons have hands or legs or a face.rather if god is superior to us humans then god must be different.why is god referred to as HE.god can be a SHE or even above both HE AND SHE.i believe its just human imagination that we presume od to be someone or somehting.however faith and belif is stronger than the truth.god can be anyone or anything.god can be allah or ganesha or krishna or shiva or jesus or parvati!who knows and who cares.god is your confidant your best friend.if you truly love god how does it make any difference that god is this or that.true love for god must not be confined in terms and conditions.god can be anything and i know i will still love my god.god is the truth and not imagination.my love for god is true to its core.i think of god as the only one who truly understands me and loves me.i sometimes call god ganesh, sometimes shiv, sometimes allah or jesus. but i love god no matter who god is or who god can be or who god will become.i just love god despite god's appearance or for that matter god's name.

Different people have different beliefs. There are people in the US that believe in several gods. It's actually a matter of religion. I'm catholic and I believe there's only one god. However, I don't judge other people on their opinions, we won't know until we're gone.
