What kinds of skills, talents, interests do you have? Maybe try to find something that follows those. You have to know yourself in order to sell your ability and desire to work to a potential employer. Are you willing to learn something new? Are you physically able to do landscape work, custodial work, night security?

Fast food places are typical starting points. If you don't like children, or have little or no experience with young children I wouldn't suggest that you get into day care situations.

While you are looking, are you also looking into community education classes that would help you gain some skills that could boost your confidence and improve your resume?

Good luck!

I would look to find an entry level position at a large company. As you gain experience and meet people, you can network to find potential new positions over time as your experience builds.
