It should be hung over your front door. I have on myself, although I really don't need it. :)

My friends dad had one that hangs over his bedroom door. That looks way better. I think hanging it over your front door wont look so good. Over your bed might not be as good, either. But do whatever you want - its only a horseshoe!! ;)

Most people put them over the front door but why not in the bedroom

Outside above the front door gives luck to the whole house. Also the horesshoe must be pointing up so the luck can't pour out.

It doesn't matter. It all depends where you want more luck. But I was told a few things by my old Grandparents about hanging them. The one big thing is how you hang it. The shoe has to be pointed up like a "U" so the luck doesn't run out.
Not saying I believe this stuff. Just passing the info on to you.
