Why don't you hear bad things about democrats on the news?

In the last election 85% of the newsrooms voted for the democrats, obviously they're not going to say anything bad about the folks they vote for and support. If you really want to see the bias do a nexis search of the terms liberal democrat and conservative republican. conservative republican is in newspaper and magazine articles nearly twenty times as often. The good thing is because of the Internet the viewership and readers of "traditional" news sources are rapidly declining.

Because the media is largely controlled by liberals and democrats! The argument over whether the national press is dominated by liberals is over. Since 1962, there have been 11 surveys of the media that sought the political views of hundreds of journalists. In 1971, they were 53 percent liberal, 17 percent conservative. In a 1976 survey of the Washington press corps, it was 59 percent liberal, 18 percent conservative. A 1985 poll of 3,200 reporters found them to be self-identified as 55 percent liberal, 17 percent conservative. In 1996, another survey of Washington journalists pegged the breakdown as 61 percent liberal, 9 percent conservative. Now, the new study by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press found the national media to be 34 percent liberal and 7 percent conservative.

Over 40-plus years, the only thing that's changed in the media's politics is that many national journalists have now cleverly decided to call themselves moderates. But their actual views haven't changed, the Pew survey showed. Their political beliefs are close to those of self-identified liberals and nowhere near those of conservatives. And the proportion of liberals to conservatives in the press, either 3-to-1 or 4-to-1, has stayed the same. That liberals are dominant is now beyond dispute.

Because the media shelters them from any bad press.Just like the land deal with Harry Reid that he conviently forgot to report to the eithics comittee in which he gained 1.1 million bucks and Jefferson in Louisiana for the bribes only found 90 thou out of a hundred thou.And he was stupid enough to ask the military to get it for him during evacuation of hurricane Katrina.Havent heard much about those and never will,and Sandy Berger with his panties filled will Clintons documents from the national archives during the 911 investigation.But if a republican did it them its bury their butts.I love the double standards they have..,they are the ones that started the hate campaign against Bush by leaving the Whitehouse trashed and taking all the w's off the computers which is destroying Federal property and they got away with that as well.

How long have you been listening to the news, and what news do you subscribe to ? There are speeches, voting records, and historical documents on every person that has served.
So you never heard anything about the Clinton affair, or the scandal that involved the real estate where witnesses ended up dead and one commiting suicide, or Ted Kennedy leaving a living girl for dead at the bottom of a river and going home ? Or the late congressman that just died and his criminal conviction with sex and a minor ?
There are bad things from both parties, just look for them and stop relying on a news media to provide the information. They all have agendas to, they tell you what they want you to hear.

The major tv and newspapers are owned by one group. They are controlled here just like in other communist countries.

There is an agenda, like there has been for several years. Our votes dont count, its all run by the one world orders.

Sad but true- and its becuase our good men here failed to do anything. Our children are being lead to beleive that liberalism is the right way and is the foundation of our country.

We are going to have to turn this ship around but we have got to change our focus from things to heaven before anything will change.

This nation was founded on CHRISTIAN values. Yet, today, Christians are mocked and ridiculed becuase we tell the libs that their imoralities are wrong. So they attack us from every side. I see it with the teens now. I am mortified to the moral decline in our nation. With our children...
