No, not really. I am in graduate school and people do not understand why I am not going out and getting drunk 5 nights a week. I don't fit their limited scope of what a grad student should be, but I would rather be true to me than change so that they would accept me, ya know?

Yes... I think because I'm diplomatic about it to people who have different viewpoints... or maybe because I expect it. I have enough friends who accept me for who I am, that I don't pay any attention to those who don't and they usually aren't noticeably in my life if they don't like me.

Yes. but these dayz it seems you have to be a certain *color* or *heritage* to click in more but if you just be your self and show urself to people there's no doubt people won't accept you for being you so be REAL.

my family and friends do, and they are the ones that matter. and also my coworkers do. I fortunately work at a very diverse office. there are 3 of "us" working there (used to be 5!), and we are accepted as much as any of the other minorities are. we all work well together.

in my case i would say no ima crossdresser and people dont understand so instead of trying to understand me or accept it they think im not right and should get help or they dont talk to me anymore or i get teased so ussually if ur differnt they wont accept u not saying all people r like that but the majority r

yeah, i find most people pretty cool, but there's always the odd slug that slithers out from under a brick that gives you a hard time about something they clearly know nothing about.
