Ok, Jan. Feb. March April May June -- Named after Roman gods
Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec.- Named after numbers (7, 8, 9, 10)
The reason that the numbers don't align with the actual number of the month-- Julius Caesar added July
Caesar Augustus added August.
