i am having no luck finding someone, and every site wants to charge me like 40 quid for a years subscription. i dont need that, only a one off search that will give an address or phone no.
please help

It's free but sometimes a little slower to update than 192.com.
A tip that I found is to do a search for lets say.. A Jones from New Road Chester on b4usearch.
Then type all of the info. it gives you into 192 (for free) & if the result is the same b4usearch's files on A Jones are up to date, if the boxes remain grey on 192 (i.e you have to pay for info) b4u is out of date.

check to if your phone carrier has a search..
here in the US we can get numbers from yahoo people search or Qwestdex.com
