His Presidency is controversial, but deep down inside, is he a good man????????

Yes, he's a good person. He did not have sex with interns, or sell missle technology to China for a 10 million campaign contribution, or go to England to dodge the draft.

Notice the negative answers here? "No", and "he's morally corrupt" (without saying anything about him that's immoral).

Answerman, "hundreds of thousands"? The last I heard we've lost about 3000 in the war on terror, and Iraq has lost maybe 10,000. But they're fighting for their freedom. What do you call leaving a dictator in power that cuts peoples body parts off, tortures, rapes??? You're such a moron.

Sometimes life doesn't go as we have planned. I am sure President Bush was blindsided by 9/11. If one can imagine being responsible for a country large or small, rich or poor, it must be a great mental burden. To flippantly respond with thinking you know someone's heart you are a fool, but to make a point straight: All of the world's intelligence stated what Bush spoke of in that speech. You make decisions based on what you currently know and hindsight is 20/20. If the intelligence gathered by countries like France, Germany, Russia and China, who were doing business regularly with Saddam, is the same as what was gathered by our intelligence the decision was clear and a viable one. Simple minded people will react with simple minded comments I am sure. (He Lied, Please.. that rhetoric is for immature idiots.) I think he is doing the best with what he has been given. A very rough Presidency that is parallel to that of President Lincoln in catastrophes and hateful opposition. I believe that only God is good; and all have sinned and fall short of His Glory. But is Bush striving to be a good President? Yes, I believe he is...

Our previous president tended to govern by how things would play in the polls.
President Bush is a true leader that makes the tough decisions. He's a man of conviction. He won't be swayed because someone disagrees.

Only God can judge whether a man is "good" or not. We can only see external things, not his heart.

My OPINION is that he is trying as our President, and I honor that.

The people who think he's not good simply because of this war in Iraq are misled. W/O getting into a war debate....I think President Bush is doing a good job. No man is perfect.

NO!!! He is a self-centered, lying, sorry excuse of a human being! He became President from fraudulent ballot tampering in Florida. (Isn't his brother Jeb the governor of Florida? How convenient. Of course Jeb couldn't have had anything to do with that.) He has caused more suffering world wide than all of our other Presidents combined. He claims to be a Christian; yet he lies, and terrorizes other countries who won't do or agree to what he wants (He sanctions them to the point of not getting enough food and medical necessities.) If a country dares to stand up to him he bullies them, just like an older/stronger child will bully a smaller/weaker one. He talks about terrorist, yet he uses their same strategies. "Either you do as I say or I will get every country that I can to sanction you until you do." I don't ever recall reading anything about Christ bullying others to get his own way. Bush also takes away from the poor to give to the rich. Didn't Christ preach that we are to help the poor; to do so is like helping God. As people world wide are starving literally to death, he is 'sanctioning" and taking away what little they have; yet at the same time he is giving BILLIONS of dollars to his rich cronies. (Think Exxon) I honestly believe that Bush doesn't have a conscience and couldn't care less about anyone but himself. He will do or say whatever it takes, to whomever it takes, to continue his "Reign of Terror." If the man had an ounce of goodness in him he couldn't have lied about WMD to get others to back him to declare war on an innocent country. Yes, Saddam is a bad person, but he was the ruler of Iraq. It should have been up to the Iraq people if they wanted to oust him. Bush lied to the entire world and had everyone scared of what "The Mad Man" would do to us with his "weapons". Look at how many tens of thousands of people have died because of his one lie. Also, think about the suffering of MILLIONS of people on account of his lying. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes on judgment day! Thank God he can't run for President again!

He is not controversial. Just because the socialist left and the media thinks he's controversial it doesn't mean that he is. They are just making him out to be so they can get control. when are people going to figure this out? It doesn't take a rocket scientist.
