One great source I used was Taking Charge of Your Fertility (TCOYF) by Toni Weschler. There is also software - Ovusoft that makes charting really really easy! And not that you asked for this part, but be careful getting pregnant without insurance (I work in HR) - some insurance carriers will consider that a pre-existing condition and will NOT cover the expenses once you are eligible for coverage.

The above poster is correct. take the temp before you get out of bed. What you are looking for is a slight increase to show you are ovulating. If the temp doesn't drop in 7-12 days you may be PG. If the temp drops then you should be expecting AF.

I use mymonthlycycles.com
i hear however that fretilityfriend.com
is better for charting temps. They have lots of other information as well
*Good luck

*you can get the thermostat at any drug store.

go to

fertilityfriend.com

or

mymonthlycycles.com

buy a basal body thermometer and take your temp at the same time every morning before you get out of bed, keep it right by your bedside, don;t even get up to go to the bathroom, and have at least 3 consecutive hours of rest before taking the temp. Then enter the numbers in on whichever site you choose.
