I'm in my early 30's and she is still my all time fave doll in the world. Everytime I see her it takes me back to my childhood, I thought she was the most adorable, cutest doll ever, and in her cartoons, I loved the way she talked. I even imagined living in her house made of strawberry cake! The new Strawberry is also cute, but just not the same! 80's Strawberry Shortcake 4-ever! ;)

I totally agree with you! I used to watch her old episodes every single week. My mom worked at a movie rental store, so we could rent any children movies for free. Strawberry Shortcake was one of my all-time favorite shows. Now that they've come out with the new one I think she's creative and cute, but just can't live up to the classic.

I recently discovered my Strawberry Shortcake doll along w/her friend that smells like Raspberry. They were given to my 17 year old niece when she was 4, and now my daughter plays with them. They still smell! Unfortunately, can't find any shoes for them?? haha

I also still have the watch w/the red band. I put a new battery in it a few years back and it's still going strong. I also still have the gazebo with the hammocks. I used to love that thing! Hopefully, my daughter will love them as much as I did. And I totally agree w/you about the new version. Leave well enough alone people - can't change a classic. ;)

i used to LOVE strawverry shortckae more then anyone can believe, i was 13, and still wanted a strawberry shortcake party! i had like everything of hers up until i was like 14, i got intrested in more age appropraite things, mostly because everyone was beginning to think i was crazy with all the ss stuff, i still have it though, in save keppings, i never threw away a thing! amazing how popular a daoll can be to make 4 seperate apperances that everyone still loves ....the 80's dolls the 90's dolls the early bandi dolls and now the flavor swirl, i don really like the flavor swirl and dont own any of them , i think they have very little to no resemblence to the real thing, they look more llike one of rainbow brites friends, but whatever, im sure the newcomers love her just as well as we love our ould ones!! anyway i just stopped by to tell you how i felt about strawberry shortcake, she was an extremly important part of my older childhood, and even today if i see something of her in a store my heart still gets that feeling and i have to go pick it up or look at it, though un like i was, i dont feel as if i have to buy it, i can let it go and just remember it... good times and memories i have of her, no one can have those!

I think she's a cute little thing but I'm a HUGE Tinkerbell fan. I don't think there is anything wrong with you liking Hello Kitty.

I remember my sisters had these dolls....one smelled like strawberries...one smelled like peaches. Wasn't there a villain named Sour Grapes?
Why do I remember this?
