I need to make up my little kid for a school play where he's gonna be a donkey but I can't find directions on how to do the make up. So if anyone knows about some site I'll be thankful

Maybe you could just use brown face paint and some white around the mouth. And black on the nose.

I tried searching Yahoo but didn't find anything either. When I took a stage makeup course in college, the professor encouraged us to look at as many photos/drawings on the subject as possible. Yahoo has a picture search, but "donkey" results in more than just the animal so make sure the kid isn't watching the search results.

My suggestion would be white from halfway up the bridge of the nose down to under their chin (1/3 way to the neck). Image a teardrop shape. But leave directly under the nose uncovered (see gray or brown below). Then do while circles around the eyes (eyelids might be tricky, but for a kids play you could skip them).

Apply black to the outsides of the nose around the nostils. You are trying to make the nose look wide, so the painted nostrils will actually be on the sides of the nose. Black lipstick if you have it.

Finally use brown or gray for the rest of the face and neck. Also add this color directly under the nose. Blend the the brown/gray into the white around the eyes and between the nose and upper lip. You could just use your fingers to do this. Just have a rag handy.

You could even blend some of the black up into the brown/gray from the center of the upper lip. If you do, you may need to touch up the lip.

Good luck!!
