There are two options with one likely outcome. If A shot B in Canada, then he would be committing a crime across state lines, really international borders and therefore create a federal issue. Assuming the A is a Canada citizen A would be tried in Canada. However, if A is an American citizen he could be tried in Canada or the US but the US would more than likely extradite him back the US.

Well America could ask Canada to hand him over and try him in America. As far as I know Canada would not be able to try someone for crimes in another country (killing someone across the border).

The crime takes place in 2 jurisdictions and could be tried in either. This is more than a theoretical issue. Take a Sopranos episode. Tony, in NJ, tells Silvio and Chris to rob Louie (I made him up). Louie has a business in NY. They get Tommy in NY to help them rob Louie in NY. In the course of the robbery, they abduct Louie. They then drop off Tommy and drive Louie to Pennsylvania where they get Sal to shoot and bury him. Each of them can be prosecuted in NJ, NY, and Pa even though Tony never left NJ, Tommy was never in Pa or NJ and Sal was never in NJ or NY and Tony never told them to kill Louie.

No but give em rubber bullets those things bring even grown men to thier knees but are not lethal, unless you hit them in ther head. Lets be real here nobody wants illeagals dead we just want them to come here legally, and give back to the country. That's all we ask for. If we never let anyone in America would not be the great place it is today.

I am going to answer to this honestly............REALLY.

NOBODY cares about the Canadian border or what happens or who they/you/anyone shoots.

If you had asked this question and said A is standing in MEXICO and shoots B who is in America.....you would have had 400 answers.

My answer though..........I would hope that A would be tried in his home country and B country would follow up.
