There's quite a few when you start with John Williams. But given that you said song which implies a vocalist; I'd say with no hesitation, ' You Only Live Twice ' sung by Nancy Sinatra. It was really beautiful accompanying an above average film even for a Bond thriller. Too, dismissing the fact of a famous father. It really made the movie. Sometimes I find myself humming it.

i like lots of film soundtracks but my favourites would have to be Queen of the Damned, Daredevil, Elektra and other Marvel films.... dont know why, probably because you get a decent collection of different bands. I dont find socres as interesting though.... they sound alright in films but not on cd

I got loads!
'Aint no mountain high enough' by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell for the movie Stepmom.
'Stand by me' for Stand by me movie
and finally all of The Lost Boys soundtrack
Thats not half of it, I just think that most movie makers make a good job of choosing the best song to suit the theme/ mood

Take my breath away from Top Gun, because of the closure - they got together. She's like the wind, from Dirty Dancing, because of the passion, and I know Patrick Swayze isn't a fantastic singer, but that added to the feeling behind it. And...many of the songs from My Fair Lady, but I haven't time to write an essay!
