no she's not doing it on purpose to make u jealous... she's doing the same thing u would do if u had a chance to go out with him.. right? unless u had a "pact" to not date him.. but that is not going to be good either. the thing is, u need to be able to let things go, and make things happen, for yourself. if he likes her, fine, let it be. if he liked u first, she should let that be. don't let a guy get in between you two.. .if she is being a brat, than i guess she's not a good friend. but if she is truly sorry and tries to include u and explains that she just really liked him and he showed interest, try to understand. :)

She probably likes him, too. She cannot help it if you both like the same guy ... but, she probably should have been more sensitive to your feelings. Maybe you should tell her that she is hurting your feelings and you don't feel like you can hang out with her right now & then just start doing things with other friends until you feel better about the situation.

Lord you young kids these days. Why argue over the same boys? There are soooo many out there,,,why is it you girls have to like the same ones??? I think you should just act like it doensnt bother you in the least bit,,,and i guarentee after awhile she wont even like him anymore. Its a game to alot of females who can get him first. If she wants him that bad then let her have him and find another boy to date.
