x and z are variables!!

1 1/4x = -3 3/4? x= -3 but how do you get this???????

x/3 = -6 x= -18 but how do you get this??????????

1 1/3 = 4x x = 1/3

5z+16=51 z= 7 but how?????????

0.6x - 1.5 = 1.8 x=5.5

For 2x = 6, you would divide 6 by 2 to get x = 3
so you do the same thing for your first problem divide -3 3/4 by 1 1/4 which is -3

for the second equation both sides of the equation get multiplied by 3 so x = -18

For the third, both sides are divided by 4 so 1 1/3 divided by 4 = 1/3

For 5z + 16 = 51, first subtract 16 from each side so
5z = 35, then divided both sides by 5 and z = 7

For 0.6s-1.5=1.8 first add 1.5 to each side, then 0.6x = 3.3
Divide each side by 0.6 and x = 5.5

Good luck

change all of the mixed fractions into pur fracts, then you get

5/4x=-15/4

then multiply each problem by 4 to get rid of it as a denominator
and you get:
5x=-15
then devide by five, to get the x alone

and you get x=-3

for the second one
multiply both sides of the equation to get rid of the denominator(whatever you do to one side, you MUST do to the other!)

then for the third, change the mixed fractions into pure fractions:
4/3x=4x
and flip the fraction (so it reads 3/4) and multiply it by the other side

for the 4th one, subtract 16 from fifty one, and dived by five

and for the final one, add 1.5 to 1.8 and then divide that by .6

1 1/4 = 1.25
-3 3/4 = -3.75

then 1.25x = -3.75
x = -3.75 / 1.25
x = -3
It's the same thing for all of your equation
