Too many kicks are being called back because of these phantom last second timeouts! Its a cheap stunt by the defense.

No, Steeler fan actually. But I hate seeing plays called back unless a penalty helped cause the play to happen. If I see a ball go through the uprights or miss, it should count. It should get stopped before that!

I think the officials simply need to show better judgment in such situations. A timeout is not a timeout until granted by the officials. They have the power to refuse to grant a timeout in such situations, and should use it.

from what i remember cowher was calling the time out before the ball was snapped, however the ref didnt blow the whistle until it was snapped. but i could be wrong. just what i got from watching the replay

No. If they save them to the end, they should be able to use them how they want. Besides the million dollar kicker should be able to make it twice.
