You are an American, and as such, have the inalienable right to vote your conscience when you go to the polls. That's the benefit of living in a democracy like ours. You have free choice. I am glad that you sound informed about making your decision. So many people just follow the crowd, not bothering to do the research to make an informed choice when voting. I, like you, feel that it is time for a change.

I wouldn't say that makes you anti-American but, it does qualify you for the "Stupid is as Stupid does" club. Seriously, no offense intended. When you affiliate with a political party and vote party lines it pretty much says you believe what ever your party wants, right or wrong!

I feel that's where we are wrong! I am convinced that the two party system is a waste, as a system that is. If you were a politician and you did not like a particular bill that was being voted on by your local, state or federal government and wanted to vote against it, you just might lose your parties support come next election. Because you voted against your party to do something right or at the very least, voted what your constituency wanted, you now stand the chance of losing your future support.

Being a citizen obligates you to do the right thing if you are going to be a part of the process. Vote what's right, forget about the parties as they are. Only you can change the way things are done politically. Democrats and Republicans are the same and nothing will change unless we vote for change.

Both parties have their lies and failures. If you don't believe that by now, you're not following up on the story or, you believe everything you are told.

Anti-American maybe ...Depends on who you plan to vote for...

Dems such as Poloski back legislation bans (local) that would prohibit military recruitment in the city ,some just for state school campuses, advocate general amnesty for illegals, want a national sales tax etc
Since service in the military is voluntary do the Dems/Libs think that the US military can be replaced with smiles, desires to talk ou differences??
As for the illegals would amnesty really help? Since know NO one knows who where and how many illegals exist WHO do you think will be paying for their education complete with free lunch, free medical care, the costs to law enforcement and prison systems, transportation maintainance to maintain the highways, the elevated costs for utilities watersewage & other utilities ...Do You really think the illegals happily turn over tax $$ to the IRS when they can reap all the benefits by remaining "invisible".
You are removing a Republican ...Surely You dont believe that the political Party affiliation has anything to do with WHAT each INDIVIDUAL politician CHOOSES to do.
All politicians seek to maximize their power and will Back whatever and whoever can provide lucrative $$$ support thatthey use to get re-elected. What YOU CAN DO is check out the political voting record and the affiliations they have with organizations and see who changes their stance/opinion the least. ..Then vote for the politician that has themost honesty and character...Its not about whether they are DEMs or REPS its whether you feel they can do whats "right" even if they may not get big buck supporters or will take flack..
think about why you vote ..its better than a whine and stupid belief that Republicans are somehow more prone to lies than Democrats
...Its not about party affiliation ..It's supposed to be about Who you think will protect and serve your needs...

Yes, James S., you are an American. Presuming, of course, that you have US citizenship. Maybe you have been watching too much O'Reilly or listening to too many Bush speeches. If you have Rush on the radio, exercise the OFF button.

I hope you are joking. Despite what Pres. Bush and the Fox Network tell you: You are an American whether you vote Republican, Democrat or for an Independent; it is your privilege to vote for anyone you choose. It is much more un-American to try to brainwash people and make someone feel guilty for not following the patriotic herd of unsympathetic of conservative lemmings we have around today.

Think for yourself.

No. The idea that voting Democrat is Anti-American is put forth by fringe Republicans and the Democratic Party itself. It's odd.

That's right! Besides, they gave you the choice to vote against republicans, so you have every right to!

Sincerely, Summer

P.S. I hope this helped!

No that does not make you anti-American. I live by the slogan that if its broke fix it.. and we as the American people have been living with a broken government for a long time now. it is time to fix it by voting a new system into office. that system is the democrats.

No, you're literally not anti-American because the Republicans might want to have you ever believe. a real American is loose to vote for who they prefer to vote for. there is no longer something anti-American about that. The Anti-American label is in difficulty-free words there to scare you and the in difficulty-free words element we ought to worry is worry itself! i believe a astonishing Democrat...all-American president suggested that in WWII. Chin up...you've a recommendations. Use it in all American freedom.

No. It means that you (like so many others) are an individual who does not agree with how our government is being run, and by your vote, you hope to change things, hopefully for the better. That's how our system works and that's why it has evolved to where it is today.

If yo don't vote ......... Then don't complain.

Vote on.......

No. If anything that makes you more of an American. I am doing the same. All Dems on my ticket. It's good to know that other people out there are concerned about America!
