Gambling is a mugs game m8 regardless of your creed or religion, the only winners are the gambling establishments owners.
Next time you feel like placing a bet, buy your wife something instead, then the next time buy your children something, after that think about donating your stake to your mosque or other charities

After working in casinos for 8 1/2 years I have seen lots of people with gambling problems. First of all, realise that having a gambling problem doesn't make you a bad person. It just means you're human. None of us are perfect. Secondly, the fact that you have taken the time to ask this question of yourself and of others means that you're off to a good start already. Why did you start gambling in the first place? Did you just get hooked on the adrenaline rush of a series of good wins? Did you start gambling to escape something? Where do you gamble? If it's in casinos then there are options to get yourself barred from them and they can also provide you with helplines and institutions that can help. There are more people in the same situation than you realise and I think it would help you tremendously to get in touch with them. Addiction doesn't discriminate, it can affect anyone. Good luck :)

Stop for a second and think. You might have a compulsive gambling problem. There are many places you can go for help if this is the case.

i think being a muslim won't get u anywhere must be nice to be urself and do anything u wish to do and have no gulit and no fear of god or anybody to what u want all is okany religion is just temporary cycle in the life bless u

well even if you pray, fast are good to your wife and children, gambling is a sin and even so it is awful.

Well, first you can take off the mask, then you can think about why you pray and fast, but don't follow other parts of your religion.
