Sirius I think has better growth potential with Howard Stern working for them. The best possible scenario is if the two companies merge but until that happens I don't see much hope for either.

I think Howard Stern's is a funny guy, but I just don't think he is worth the money and stock that Sirius handed over to him. For this reason alone, I would say go with XM. But honestly, if you are a satellite subscriber and think satellite radio is the future of radio, then I would say just buy both stocks.

As an investor though, I would have to say these are two of the worst stocks you can buy. If you want to get some better ideas about stock investments, go to http://www.top10traders.com - this is a free site where you can see what the best investors are buying and selling. You can create your own portfolio of stocks with $100,000 in 'play' money and see how you compare to other investors. Good luck.

Neither company is currently profitable, and both carry heavy debt loads. I personally have stock in Sirius and it has done nothing but fall down down down. I think that Sirus will prove better than XM but I don't know.

something to think of of roughly... a million. Sirius / XM is a luxurious. With the way the economic device is now, if human beings ought to take heed to loose radio or cancel their cutting-edge money owed to maintain money for milk they're going to do it. 2. multiple the Sirius / XM subscriptions are coming from the wonderful vehicle makers who're advertising them with their automobiles. If the vehicle bailout does no longer pass by way of way of and all of those companies commence going bankrupt do you particularly think of of Sirius / XM would be able to make up for that loss with new self sustaining subscriptions on my own ? 3. keep song of the inventory over perfect right here few weeks. this is the time of 365 days they're actual giving radios away to %.. up subscriptions. in the event that they do now no longer do any corporation contained in perfect right here few weeks then i ought to advise staying removed from it. on the countless hand, in case you have have been given the money to spend and wanna %.. up a pair thousand shares, it ought to pay off massive time in 5-10 years on the same time as we are (with any luck) out of this economic catastrophe. No diverse corporation is gonna furnish satellites up each and every time without delay, so inspite of in the event that they do pass away they may be returned finally...why now no longer purchase in on the backside element now.
