Probably going to the dentist for it is best, because they can use a controlled environment and help you figure out what's best. If not, I'm guessing strips would work better than toothpaste (toothpaste never seemed to do much for me back when I used some for a while). Any way you go, though, be careful: whitening is basically a process of stripping the outermost layer of your enamel, which weakens the teeth and can make you more susceptible to cavities and other problems. Don't go overboard!

The best and fastest thing that I've ever used is Crest Whitestrips Premium. I say Premium over the regular because they whiten in a week whereas the regular takes 2 weeks. Thirty minutes a day and they are super white!! It's about 25 dollars or so.

The whitening Listerine worked very well for me and it is not fancy, expensive, or time consuming.

here's the trick... don't smoke or drink soda... if you do... do not drink a lot... in the morning... use whitening listerine, then brush with aquafresh (it's in the orange box) whitening toothpaste, then use regular listerine... at night before bed... floss your teeth (all of them)!, use the whitening listering, then brush with the aquafresh toothpaste again, then use real listerine... do that everyday for the rest of your life and i guarantee your teeth will just become whiter over time... it worked for me and my roommate... it's not just a coincidence!
