as i asked earlier on how should i ask my friend to the dance.well i had my friends to ask what type of girl he likes and everything he said is the complete opposite of me.then my so called friend overheard my conversation and went to go tell him it was me and asked him to the dance for me and he said no that i wasnt his type. i felt really bad but i didnt let him know that he hurt me. should i go with him and friends and take turns dancing with him??? or shouldi ask him again and try to change my personality to fit his description on how he likes his girls???

You should not try to change your personality for someone other than yourself to the point that you are not you anymore. It would get too hard to maintain that in the end. Why not go to the dance with a group of friends and have a good time like that?

Okay. First things first. A girl should never ever EVER change her personality to please someone else, especially a guy. That would make things even worse for the situation. You want someone to like you for who you are. Not for being what you aren't. Second, if you're not his "type" then why bother with him? I'm not saying it to be mean, but to be truthful. Why bother with someone who would just probably end up breaking up with you in two days anyway? You'd be stuck in a mudhole, so to speak. I would just not acknowledge his presence. I'd take someone else to the dance and see if he got j-e-a-l-o-u-s! Then you'd be able to see who he really is.

you should never change for a guy!! they're just not worth it!! if you want him to like you, be yourself..i think that is your best chance...if he doesnt like you for who you are, hes a jerk! Just go to the dance and have fun! Dance with your friends - dance in front of him if you want and show him how much fun you're having! maybe ignore him to start with, remember the old saying 'treat em mean, keep em keen'! good luck, but dont get upset over him

oh heck no. just forget about it. If he feels like you are not his type then oh well. If you try to change yourself to be with him you he will eventually realize what you are doing and dump you anyway. He obviously know what kind of girl you are. as you get older you will realize that the less attention you give a guy the more he will like you. Guys hate it when girls are all in thier face.

well, if you want anything serious changing your personality isn't going to help, just think about it, you would find it impossible to hide and create a fake identity for an extended period of time. And would you really feel fulfilled if he only liked a fake version of yourself?
just go and have fun with your friends and take turns, maybe he'll discover you are his type.

If he cant realise how special you are then he is not for you.
Always remember That you are unique. The is no one else on this whole planet like you.

If he sounds that suck up, then you shouldn't waste your time. There's no reason for you to mix up your own personal identity just to make him happy. Just let him know that you still like him, and see what happens. Or you can make him jealous. Get a different guy, and see if he flips out.
