I know about the basketball team and the football team for some of you people I am being funny. But a jokes aside I never knew until the play offs that they had a baseball team.

Ummmm for as long as I have been alive which has been a very long time, I have known that Detroit had a baseball team. What did you think that big stadium was on the corner of Michigan and Trumbel, a greek monument? And the new stadium just a big hole in the ground? I don't know how anyone can not know that Detroit had a baseball team. Do you know we have a hockey team? They are called the DETROIT Red Wings just in case you didn't know.

It is quite obvious that everyone knows there is a team in St. Louis because Joe Buck and Tim McCarver never shut up pimping the Cards.
Way to go Fox on hiring two StL homers for the World Series. At least most announcers attempt to be unbiased...
Tigers in 6 so Kenny Rogers can get his 2nd win in the WS, get the WS MVP and attain the record of most consecutive scoreless innings during the playoffs.

The people in Detroit.
They were also formed in 1901, not 1881.
That was a different Detroit baseball team.

think that anyone that belongs in this section knows it. Even my 8 year old son knows that Detroit has a baseball and I know he knows who their single A team is which is the Oneata Tigers.

I'm a Giants fan so really it doesn't make that much of a difference to me who wins the ws. I am going for the Detroit Tigers, though. But, you have to give both teams credit for beating both NY teams!!!

2 years ago there were one of the worst in the league. part of the great story about this season is that they came from one of the worst to being in the world series.
