Coruda is a nice thought but my problem with it is that it slips too much. I prefer Equileather to Cordura. Cordura is a synthetic material used on some saddles, used most by the A-betta company.

Cordura is a synthetic material much tougher than leather and quite a bit more light weight. Saddles made of this are great for trail and endurance riding where lighter is better. They still need regular cleaning and maintenance though.

Cordura is a synthetic material used for tack. Easy care, but you still need to clean it (soap & water). More durable than leather...
