The person above me gave a great answer. New Hampshire is defintely a good place to visit. There's plenty of different types of reecreation for the different seasons, plenty of stuff to do. It's a beautiful state, too, especially this time of year when the leaves are changing colors.
I live in New Hampshire, in the Lakes Region and it's great here. A lot of people from all around New England, especially Mass. have vacation homes up here around the lakes and come up every summer. There's a lot to do around here, especially during that time of year. The winters are great, too. It does get awfully cold, the snow is great. People here love to ski, snowboard, and snowmobile.
As the person above mentioned, Berlin is a great place. Everyone up there is French/French-Canadian and when you enter the town you feel like you've gone back in time 50 years. It's a nice, old city that is well-known for the now closed paper mills. I have a lot of family up there and it's a great place to "get away." Everything looks kind of old-fashioned, and it hasn't been completely taken over by store, malls, and fast food restaurants.
Anyway, I love it here in New Hampshire. I can't imagine ever moving to another state, but if I do, this will definitely be a place I visit often.

New Hampshire is a great place to visit during any season. Winter is especially great if skiing is at the top of your list. Make sure to drive the Kancamagus Highway through the White Mountain National Forest. There is a toll road if you want to travel to the top of Mount Washington. This road can be very hazardous because of fog, wind, and snow almost anytime of the year, but the views are spectacular. For other recreation the lakes region includes the town of Laconia and Lake Winnipesaukee. For a French Canadian flavor head all the way north to Berlin, the largest town in the northern half of the state.
A town that is good for tourists is North Conway, as well as Portsmouth. The interstate highways are excellent and bill-boards are not allowed. I would rcommend visiting in winter to experience all of the winter sports New England has to offer.

New Hampshire is known for its beautiful scenery. The White Mountains are scenic. During fall, the leaves of maple and other trees turn shades of orange, red & yellow. Tourists visits during fall to enjoy the brilliant colors.
It is the 9th US State & its capital is Concord. It is known as the Granite State due to the large deposits of granite rocks therefore this place isnt good for farming. The "Old Man of Mountain" is a famous site, part of the granite mountainside on the Franconia Notch State Park. This looks like a man, however, the face fell from a rockslide in 2003.
White Mountains is the highest peak in New England. Here people can hunt, camp, hike & mountain climb. In winter it is popular for skiing & riding a snowmobile.
Portsmouth, New Hampshire, an Atlantic seaport & a tourist center. It has old houses & dates back to 1623. Strawbery Banke shows how people live here in different periods in American history.
In Hillsboro, visit the home of Franklin Pierce, 14th US President.
Near Derry, you can visit the farm where poet Robert Frost lived.
New Hampshire is a small but political state. The first Presidential election ( primary election) is held here every 4 years.

Great vacation spot. My aunt lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and when I visit, I tour Portsmouth, Mt. Washington, then I cross the state line and visit Maine - Kittery, York Beach, and Portland. Then back to New Hampshire to visit Rye Beach.

It's as good a place as most. Are you looking for winter recreation? Good skiing, snowboarding, snow mobiling? Yes but not yet thank goodness. Still a little early.
Shopping? Yes tons of outlet stores and an L.L. Bean right in Nashua. Antique shopping too. Stay at a nice BnB to complete the trip.
Nice people. Yes but true New Englanders. LOL

Especially in the summer - there are some great beaches, and camping galore. There is a US version of Stone Henge there too... In the fall the colors are great - so in a word YES
but not to great in the winter - unless you are really fond of cold and snow
