Cavity bwall insulation? It would reduce your heating bills by 30 %. It would save the environment a tonne of carbon dioxide. There would be no mess at all as it is installed from outside. It only takes 2 hours.Your home would be warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. There's a 25 yr. guarantee on all work carried out by certified installers On top of this the government is considering financial penalties for homes without it! and it is totally free because of a government grant!.So why do people refuse to have it done?

I'd advise everyone to get cavity wall insulation. In the UK it's only free to people receiving certain benefits but other people can get grants. These will depend on your income, the size of your house and your tenure. The link below will help you find out if you qualify.

Who pays the installers and for the materials? Somebody has to have some money involved. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is.

Most people refuse because these days anything that says it is "free" usually has a ton of hidden costs and fees.
