ok, whatever to the hostility, be it as it may
whatever the situation is, if his child lives with you then you should know how much he makes a take a certain percentage of that for your child, although i do think that 15% is low

I live in Australia, and Im pretty sure its more than 15%. Its the child support agency that has access to his earnings because it is an agency directly associated with the Taxation Department. If he hasnt been paying you the correct amount, then I would look into it further. If some men refuse to pay child support or less than is expected then at taxation time the amount owed to the spouse will be taken out of his refund. I would seek some legal advice if I were you because 15% seems very low and if he is paying even less than that, then you need to get what is owing. This is about your daughter and if he is so stupid as to think hes punishing you, then you need to remind him that it is called child support which is self explanatory and if he loves his daughter, then he should be made to accept his responsibilities.
Dont worry about the idiots who judge you, they get their kicks from finding something to complain about with every question asked on here from anyone. The amount he earns is certainly your business because you are raising his child and if he is earning a massive amount and you are getting a pittance, then you have a right to demand he pay the correct amount....thats why I suggest you get some legal advice.

I am not sure what your question is but if you are having problems with getting the financial support from the father of your child then you should go to the Family Court for a court order or if you have one already to have it enforced. Your local law centre or CAB should be able to help

You need to go through the CSA. They'll ask his employer for details of his earnings - and its an offence for them to not provide them, or to provide false info.
The only way around it for him is if he's self employed and has a dodgy accountant who's willing to fiddle his books - and theres a lot of them about.
And ignore the sad acts who spend there lives on here looking for people to insult!!!

i have heard of this before, if he is paying his taxes then he cant lie about how much he is earning and if he is then you need to get on to the CSA. otherwise, you still really need to talk to them about this, was there not some sort of agreement drawn up in the divorce settlement. also when your daughter leaves full time education or is 18 he will no longer have an obligation to pay.

Sounds as thought the c.s.a need to send his employer a detachment of earnings order. That way, he cannot lie about what he earns and you will receive regular money for your daughter.
Good luck.

WOW, I wish mine was 15%, I take it you're in the UK or somewhere like that, The federal Government of the US Take 40% of my gross income, he should be counting his blessings, But if you have a system like they do here "child support" you ain't gotta do squat but talk to them and Cry like a baby and they look into it.

get in touch with the Child support agency (DSA) or see a solcitor for your free 15 min consulatation who deals in family law, you may be entitled to legal aid if youre earnings arent too high, and you can take him to court and get a court order for chi9ld support, and ask that it be directly taken from his wages - he sounds bitter, and a control freak

I honestly don't know how London child support works, but here, my friends ex gets paid cash so that she never gets what she should. It truly sucks, because they come claiming their rights, but not their resposibilities
