No. I don't always speak my mind.
Some of it is humility. Maybe I don't feel as versed as the others who I am conversing with so I just let them assume I have no opinion or agree.
Some times it's out of respect. I feel people have the right to their opinion and even though they are imposing theirs on me, I feel like I shouldn't reciprocate.
Sometimes I am just not up for the fight. It doesn't weigh that heavy because there are bigger fish to fry.
Sometimes it's just because I know I won't change them, so why bother? Let them speak and get the conversation over with.
When I do speak my mind, it doesn't always feel that great. There can be trouble and it can make you vulnerable. You have to choose when to react and what to say wisely. At least, I do.

Most often!
...and yes, it does sometimes get me into trouble, being a sagittarius I lean towards saying what I see but I'v learned to be tactful and think b4 I speak...hence acquiring both humility and a certain sense of shyness...

Discretion ... discernment .... circumspection ...prudence
all dandy words that are hallmarks of a civilized soul.
In other words, I do not lie; I have, however, added certain words to my vocabulary that will enable me to express my opinion without causing undue stress or embarassment to others.
There is an example I can give of a little girl that could not sing .. couldn't carry a note in a bucket. She didn't realize that, however, and her music teacher could not find a way to get her out of a school concert without hurting her feelings. After the concert, her mother asked what the music director had to say about her singing and the little girl replied '' she said it was heavenly!."
Uh huh. Mom knows better and asked the little girl exactly what the teacher said. What the teacher actually said was "what an unearthly sound!"

Most of the time, but not always. It has gotten me into trouble in the past, and surely it will in the future... so that's the main reason why I don't, and yes, also because in some situations I am too shy. But I also sometimes feel what's on my mind is just plain inappropriate and better be kept to myself :-)

I think it is not always the best policy to say everything that you would like to say. That could get you into lots of trouble in the work place and with people you don't know well enough. The people who know me how ever expect me to say what's on my mind.

There is a time and place for everything. It is all situation dependent. In the right forum, I tend to speak my mind. I work with a lot of people I respect. We often disagree, but find that we accomplish much more when we speak our minds, rather than holding back.

No, I try to hold back when it's appropriate. Some things are just better left unsaid. The times that i HAVE said what was on my mind when I should have kept my mouth shut did end up gettting me into trouble. it all depends upon the situation.

Yes I always say what I'm thinking and what I feel. Yes it sometimes gets me in trouble but I would rather know I was honest. At least.

No, but if I did, I'd probably feel less explosive!
I'm always afraid that I'll make someone mad. Most of the time I should be speaking up for myself!
I wish I was more blunt but in a nice way!
