the only time a married couple have sex every night is during the first couple weeks after being married or if they are trying to conceive. the average married couple has sex only 3 times a week.

That depends on the age of your parents. Women hit their full sex drive much later than men do. But it would not be uncommon for couples to make love everyday if they have a strong (mutual) sex drive. This of course depends on the health of the relationship. It would be uncommon for any couple to never skip a day and it would not be viewed as not being intimate to skip a day. Let's face it, making love is a pleasant act that is most satisfying in a lifelong relationship built well beyond the bedroom.
So the important question is really how healthy a relationship your parents have with one another. The healthier, the more likely they enjoy love making and the better for the family as a unit built on love and mutual support.
Finally there are many things in daily living that interfere with the desire for sex. Work, stress, problems, money issues and of course the problems that face our loved ones in the family. It would be difficult for a loving couple to enjoy sexual intercourse when the mind is troubled by outside interferrence.

While it is gross to think of what your folks do every night, one has to wonder, eh?
I think it depends on the age, libido, stress levels, etc. of the said parents. Of course they don't have sex EVERY night, but some people just like to have sex a lot. Others may not like it as frequently, either. Also how people are getting along in a relationship may affect how often they do it....

Parents are just people who have kids. I doubt that many of them have the time, energy or privacy to have sex every single night but I'm sure a few come close. Others never have sex any more. Don't worry about what your parents do.

My Husband and I have sex more like 3 times a month. We also work full time with opposite schedules and we have 2 small children.

I am a parent, and yes, we do have sex every night unless one of us is sick or working a late shift. I think everyone should make time for daily sex. We always go to bed happy. :)

It depends on the couple. My parents didn't. They slept in different rooms for 5 years before getting divoriced. *laughs* But it just depends on each persons parents relationship, that's all.

I am a parent and the answer is no we are usually to busy with other things but you should be asking your parents like you did and trust their answers

it depends on the couple.. beacuse there are some parents who used to have sex every night...but there are some that they don't have enough time for sex....but the new married couple do ...and that's for sure
