A friend of mine owns a small shop and rents out a few dvd's whom he rents off a rental company each month. However, they charge him a fortune so i was wondering is there any website where he can just buy the dvd's for cheap?

He cant rent out normal dvds, they have to be the rental type. To rent out normal dvds you buy in the shop is illegal.

Check the Marketplace listings on amazon.com, there tend to be some real bargins on there. You also can check the DVD wholesale lots category on ebay for some real steals.

try a pawn shop. Most pawn shops have DVD's from
$3-10 dollars. If you can't find things you want go to netflix. they offer previously viewed movies at a almost half off rate.

Plenty of places to get cheap DVD's. Just go to the market and look around on the sides or dark corners, or in bins to find these chinese people. (no offense) That have a whole bunch of DVD's for sale for a good price. I love those guys, they are good. Sometimes you might meet one without them, but when they open their jacket you will find out.

If you try www.lovefilm.com they have films that you can download, some are free. Your best bet for rental dvd's to buy would probably be blockbuster

Why not go to blockbuster video or hollywood video and buy previously viewed movies? You can get good deals on them there......
