The kidneys have important functions in removing nitrogenous wastes and
maintaining the chemical and fluid balance of the body. It does this by
excreting/secreting into the urine water, urea, uric acid, urate salts,
carbonates, calcium, phorphorus, sodium, potassium, ammonium ion and
bicarbonate ion, etc.
A cloudy urine can be caused by precipitation of crystals and amorphous
salts. Phosphates and carbonate salts precipitate in alkaline urine and
can be redissolved by acidifying the urine with acetic acid. Uric acid and
urates can be redissolved by heating the urine to 60C. Urate salts also
dissolve in acidified urine.
Other causes for cloudy urine are: leucocytes(pus), bacteria, red blood
cells, spermatozoa and prostatic secretions in men, in women contamination
of the collected urine specimen from vaginal secretions and finally, mucus
secreted from the urinary tract.

If you have no symptoms, then the cloudiness may be due to the presence of normal vaginal mucus.
Cloudy urine may indicate serious disease and needs prompt professional medical diagnosis.
It would be a good idea to report what you’ve noticed to your GP, and to arrange for a sample to be sent to the laboratory for analysis. Any blood, pus, crystals, or infection will be reported. If you have symptoms of thrush such as itching, soreness, irritation, or a thick white discharge, then it would be wise to get treatment from your GP. If your urine test is reported as normal there is no need to worry. Drinking plenty of water will reduce your chances of having problems with urine infections or cystitis in the future.

Usually its associated with dehydration. Your body is lacking H20 and your urine is getting the cloudy effect. Once you start drinking lots of water, cranberry juice and any other natural juices you will get a cleaner clearer urine quick.
