beleivabilty and diction- because even if you have good believabilty if you don't have good diction it won't matter

Many actors that I admire agree that their "most valuable asset" is having the ability to remain silent and listen.

Charisma is the most valuable asset. E.g. Brad Pitt and Bill Clinton. I think with charisma, it draws the audience into what they do or say.

"Believability". The actor needs for you to believe she is the character you are seeing, not some woman pretending. And the speaker needs you to believe what he is saying; that is the critical test of his success as a speaker.

Believable characterization.

Watch the movie Gigot with Jackie Gleason. He has considerable acting talent and says not a word. It is quite poignant.

versatility and flexibility. and, contrary to popular belief, not a large ego. Acting, especially on the stage, is a group effort, you are all there to support the play, not the other way around, and you have to be able to take direction and not let your ego get in the way of interpretation.
