I just bought a house with a 1962 original Frigidaire dual oven stove. It's 40 inches wide! The stove is in perfect working order too. We're looking to remove the stove and replace it with a gas stove. I'm wondering if it's worth anything or what we should do with it. Afterall, it is considered an antique.

Okay, the stove is in REALLY good condition. What's more? Frigidaire is still making parts for it. Oh, and as far as going gas, we don't care about the money it will cost us. If we did, we wouldn't be replacing the oven in the first place.

to be antique it must be 100 years old. the only thing that is antique sooner is a car (25 years old)

as for your stove you did not say what type of fuel it uses ie: wood, K-1, gas. electric, coal, ect.

a wood stove may have some value perhaps a few hundred, the rest are good scrap iron
