what happens when you mix bleach and alcohol together? does it explode and kill you or something?

No. It doesn't because I ran out of bug spray once so I made my own bug spray using home materials like alcohol, soap, bleach, acid and perfume and it accidently went through my jeans and nothing happened to them. They didn't dissolve or anyhting. Welle xcept for that fact, they turned lighter. But that's the wrosr that could happen. However if you do swallow it, you'll probably have to go to the hospital.

I have never heard of these two chemicals reacting together.
The oxidation product of ethanol is usually ethanoic acid, or vinegar.
