Go to a baby name site and select names with meanings that reflect their appearance, heritage, or personalities. Or choose names that honor a relative, living or not. Sometimes last names make good first names (for example, if there is a side of your family where everyone is a girl and there is nobody to pass on the family name, consider that name).
Personally, I'm not a fan of weird spellings (nobody will ever spell their name right) or names that people immediately can guess the child's race and year they were born. If you go the "unusual name" route, don't make it TOO unusual--in other words, don't invent a name unless you've run it by several people and they think it sounds okay. Otherwise, congrats on your beautiful babies and good luck.

For a boys name I love the names Jayce and Brayden. For a girls name Gracie and Alexia. They don't really match togethor but hey their gonna be twins the rest of their lives their names shouldn't match at all.

Aidan - boy
Nadia - girl
They are each the other name spelled backwards. I think this is a very cool way to name twins. This way the names are not rhyming or starting with the same letter. Good luck & congrats on your twins!

I agree. My kids' names match each other, but don't start with the same letter or worse, rhyme. I like names that stand on their own, and will still be decent names when they are 30.

Audrey (f) (means "noble strength") and Warrick(m) (strong leader)
Jovanna (f) and Jovan (m) (majestic) (Not together, but you could use one or the other)
Bridget (f) (resolute strength), Grady (m)(noble, illustrious)
The only one I knew the meaning for was Bridget because it's my baby's middle name, but, maybe you like one of the names listed above. When you said "pretty, majestic", I immediately thought "Audrey", so I was happy to see it's meaning is one of strength and nobility. Check out the site below...you can put in all sorts of search properties..
