Threatening individuals at large,or directly is against the law both Internet and otherwise.
Many people have been found & prosecuted for such idle threats, and racist comments.
Not only the FBI but also the FTC,and security groups such as the Internet Security Task Force, and the Internet Engineers Security Group (these last two Iam involved directly) and Iam familiar with these other agencies following through on actions against such people.
When the RCMP/internet div. knocks on kkkje's door he'll realize
he screwed up.

Yes, it is very difficult to remain completely anonymous on the internet. Casual users (not computer geeks) are easy to catch.
However, I doubt that Yahoo! does report it - there would have been something in the news about it.
Maybe the next time there is a post about killing or attacking gay men/lesbians, we should ALL file a report at the FBI web site.

It's more like the FBI has a task-force that monitors websites with chat, or forums. It is easy to track down a persons IP address when hosting a website.

I am not sure, but there is not threatening here...just a couple of losers seeking attention. I wouldnt go to the FBI for that...besides I enjoy insulting them sometimes and call their mothers names, it is a good stress relief.

Sure, why not? Easy to trace you back to a computer, place and time. Big Brother is always watching.

Nope , to the first question. Since this is a fictitious audience on a private site ,with no specific threats to specific people or places , it would be a waste of resources.
And if its in the fourm of a question , do you think that ....? , does not show intent to carry out the said action.
