Studying abroad is always a good idea. It gives you a much broader perspective on the world and your place in it. You can't get that from a book. Anytime you have the chance to learn of a new culture via living in it, take it. You can always come back home. The difficult part is taking the first step by going there. Besides the Spanish are great people with a wonderful heritage. Enjoy!
