im scare to walk my ferret cuz he can make himself come out of his collar..

I walk mine but it's cold now so I put on their sweaters. DON"T walk him on the collar buy a harness, try it out in the store(most stores should let you), keep him in the house til he gets used to it and stops trying to get it off but if he can get out re-fit it or buy another; the two I have tried that work are Marshalls ferret harness and leash combo(or like brands) and Super Pets harness with strechy leash. Which ever you go with be sure it is made for ferrets and NOT those little rope like things with a clasp on the back area; they do get out of those! They are marketed for ferrets but aren't good for leash training maybe an older or more experienced ferret but for an active one NO!

Yeah collars don't work so well though. Try getting an H-Shaped harness or a 8 Style one. My ferrets personally enjoy the H-Shaped ones and they don't speeze out. To make sure it is tight enough and loose enought stick your index finger between the harness and it's fur. It should be able to fit but it should fit pretty snug. Good luck with your ferret!

Yep, they love it, they try to chase cars and kids on bikes. Fall is good, they can wrestle around in the leaves. Just keep a close eye on them. Use a harness and leash though.

as long as they get ro run a pair of solid bit and characteristic a lot of issues to play with (tunnels to run via and so on) I shouldn't think of it mandatory to stroll your ferrets. possibly as quickly as the greater efficient climate comes you will take excitement in taking them out back.
