Help! One of my SAT books says that zero is an even number. One of them says that zero is neither even nor odd. Where can I find zero's correct identity?

zero is even (-4, -2, 0, 2, 4...)
even #s are a set of numbers, beginning with zero, with a difference of two between them.

basically, all multiple of 2 are even (0 x 2 = 0 = even)!

zero is neither positive nor negative, but is even.
