Did you scratch yourself with the deodorant container? The bumps they are talking about would not bleed right away. Gels tend to contain alcohol in them which will burn anyway with even a little irritation. Peroxide should not sting when applied it just cleanses the wound. Neosporin has a topical anti-biotic in it which may or may not irritate. A "Huge Gash" would only be caused by a cut not an immediate allergic reaction. If it is still bothering you take the deodorant with you to the doctor so he can see the ingredients and the wound. Do not put ANY kind of deodorant or anti-perspirant on for it could make it worse.Try not to raise your arm up it could seprerate the cut making it hard to heal.

1) wash the area with plain soap and water.
2) visually look at the affected area and make a mental note of the size and the color that way you can tell if it is getting worse or better in time.
3) DO NOT APPLY ANYTHING to it....just keep it clean and washed...
4) take an over the counter anti-allergy type pill....drixoral is a good one. The anti-histamine type is what you are looking for.
5) monitor it for a day or two.....if it is getting better then great.... if it is getting worse see a doctor.
The key is you probably had an allergic reaction and the neosporin might have had little affect once your system is already in the heightened response....

Or try baking soda mixed in water. soak or bathe it in that.

I think you should go to your doctor right away, it sounds like an allergic reaction. Don't try putting anything else on it until you talk with your doc, it could just make it worse. Good luck.

You need to go see a dermatologist, or at least your family doctor (internist). You apparently had a reaction and require prescription intervention.

Consult with your doctor who is trained, qualified, and licensed to give you medical advice. People on this site are NOT.
